I heard on the radio today that Bobby Boris Pickett (singer of "The Monster Mash") died yesterday, but I haven't seen any news stories. Can someone confirm whether the report is true? The story said he was 69 years old.

I'll bet when he recorded that song, little did he know how so many years later it would be "the" Halloween favorite. I can't even say I would have remembered what he looked like, but The Monster Mash will definitely be passed on from generation to generation to come. \:\)
