Well I have no doubt that it "is" Elvis. The Worlds Fair was in Seattle in 63. I also recognize the little Chinese girl as part of the cast, along with the female lead (Joan somebody I think) and I did know that Kurt Russell had a small part of kicking Elvis in the shins in that movie. I assume this footage was in between filming, because even Elvis's suits look like how he dressed in the movie. Yet, it's been years and years and years since I've seen it. FWIW, he looked his best during that time period. Very handsome. The guy that has the film is older now, and I guess we can assume that is him. It does seem funny that he's just releasing this now though. Is he gonna try to sell it or what? TIS

Personally, I don't believe that these are this man's own home movies. If they are then why would he wait all these years to show them? There was ample opportunity many times over the years for him to come out with that home movie and sell it during all of the Elvis hype, especially when he died and when the stories were coming out, a few years later, that he was still alive. I just find it hard to believe that this man held onto them for all these years and all of a sudden comes out with it when youtube is established. Don Cardi I'm with you, DC. Did you see "Col." Parker in the film? From what I've read about him, he'd rather have carnal knowledge of a dog with scarlet fever than let anyone have anything free from Elvis--much less a "home movie." BTW: One of the interesting tales in Peter Guralnik's outstanding two-volume bio of Elvis was how Parker kept Elvis's output scarce. His contract with RCA specified X number of albums per year, with Y number of songs on each album--and that's what Elvis delivered, nothing more, no giving RCA additional songs to consider for any album. RCA "generously" offered to build a recording studio at Graceland for Elvis to use. Nothin' doing, said Col. Parker--no way you're gonna trick The King into delivering more product than we contracted for.

I didn't say i was "into" those those poppers i said that i had tried them.. Didn't you urge myself and a few others participating in the thread to try them? By the way, why did you try them? Were you constipated, or did someone hide them in some chocolate, or what?

This guy is selling this as a 28 minute DVD on his website. http://www.fairvideo.com Here's his bio: I am a Los Angeles based television producer who also is the historian/owner of the classic radio and TV series: "The Original Amateur Hour." I also distribute a great DVD based on my experiences with Elvis Presley in 1962 at The Seattle Worldf's Fair. Info can be found on my other web site: http://www.fairvideo.com. I am an authority on world's fairs and expositions and have a large private collection of memorabilia from the 1939 and 1964 New York fairs as well as the 1962 Seattle fair.
