Just wanted to get some opinions on this. It may be crazy but in reading some of the scripts I noticed that some were looking to give us a bit of a story for the years between GF2 and GF3. In trying to think of how this may be casted, I was thinking of who could play a good middle aged Micheal. I remember watching the sequel to The Fugitive(can't remember the name of this movie) with Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr. And in some scenes Robert Downer Jr. favored a young Al Pacino. I don't know about now but is there any possible way in your mind that he could pass for a middle aged Micheal for the years between GF2 and 3?

Maybe. Downey Jr. is about the right age now (almost 42) and he does bear some facial resemblance to Pacino, which could be accentuated by makeup.
Downey is also 5-8 while Pacino is 5-6/5-7 (depending on your source), so he wouldn't be disconcertingly different-sized than Pacino.
You'd also have to get somebody to play Tom Hagen, since the test of loyalty between Hagen and Michael is the major unresolved theme moving forward from GF 2 into GF 3 (The "GF's Revenge" death of Tom Hagen, I think, can be safely written off the books as an "imaginary story.")
I'd probably go for Christian Slater (now 37) to play the Hagen role. He's got a pretty good resemblance for Duvall at the same age.

I forget if I have ever posted this before but I think Ray Liotta would be good as Tessio. But yes Robert Downey Jr. would be a good choice.

He does vaguely resemble him, but I just don't think he could pull it off. I always associate him with "waspier" roles. He's just too much of a "white guy". hahahaha!!!too much of a white guy!!!!
