According to the Novel, Michael's first two children were boys.
This means Mary Corleone never existed. Since GFIII revolves around her, lets just make it all a dream from which Michael awakens at the end of GFII, and remake GFIII with Michael becoming an old man and becoming legitimate.

Its the same with henry hill,he had one boy and one girl,but in Goodfellas he had two girls.Why would they do this..?

If your dream idea rids us of the George Hamilton character (he was a nightmare anyway), then I'm all for it!

Seriously though DonT, SC brings up a good point.

But think of it this way, if they do ever decide to make a GFIV, Mary is already dead so you won't have to deal with her character anymore.

Ok welll said. Mary should exist in the new GF III. LEts marrry her off early on. Lets do away with the Vincent Mancini character, and lets have Anthony grow a pair of rocks, and make him the heir apparent to Michael. There could be a great struggle between Michael and Kay for Anthony's soul. In this scenario there would be enough money to pay Anthony would "finish the law degree" and go to work as Michael's consigliere (thus ridding ourselves of the George Hamilton figure). At first he would be working on the legitimate stuff, and we would have Neri upgraded from a mere killer to Pentangeli's successor...he would "take care" of Zasa. As the Immobiliare deal comes unravelled Michael delivers the famous line "The higher up I go the crookeder it gets." Anthony tells him that his mother told him the thing about hos presidents and senators have men killed, and Anthonyh then and there declares Im with you pop.

It could be. The problem is that GFIII is done. If we want another, we must thing in part IV.

Anthony should take over the Las Vegas family and Vincent stays with the Corleone's in NYC. They should then should have a war.

Why if one is in Las Vegas and other in New York they will fight??? It would be possible if one of them had any interest in the other city.

I suppose maybe Vincent might get greedy and be manipulated by someone to start a war on his cousin.You could compare this to Sonny's rise of power.

Firstable I don't think Anthony could carry on with the bussines in any city.

Ok, how about Michael is annoyed about Anthony not being involved in the family buisness and becomes ruthless in his elder years. When Michael dies Vincent wants to honour him and sends Anthony to run the casinos. This is Vincents plan and he will soon exucute Athony. Anthony finds out from someone like Al Neri and soon becomes a strong Las Vegas Don.

Everything could be possible, but I think that Anthony would never been a piece of the bussines. It's only my point of view, I'm sure there are a lot of theries about this, and some of them are the same as I think, but others believe in Anthony as an Important piece of the Corleone Bussines

No, but as a 'legit' Don. Not ruthless or nasty but running casinos and hotels.

Okay, in my opinion, there are 2 points I'd like to make.
1) I can't see Anthony, the way he was portrayed in GF 3, ever getting involved in the business.
2) Vincent, growing up without any family but his mother, wanted too much to be a part of the Corleone family to ever turn on his cousin. Remember what he said to Mary in his social club about missing growing up with his cousins, etc...I think he was being sincere.

It's hard to see Anthony changing but in the movies it mentioned he was just like Micheal when he was growing up. Also in GF3 it seemed as though Anthony might have an interest in gambling in the scene, right before playing that song for his father. In GF4 Anthony should be included, in order to fully honor his uncle I would have Vincent send Anthony back to school to get his law degree. I would maybe have Anthony work at trying to get the family completely legitimate as a financial type advisor. But in his quest to legitimize the business he becomes unknowingly involved in an assassination attempt on Vincent.

I think before you go on and want to "abolish" the GF3 movie... you should ask yourself...

If GF3 was the first of another movie... what would be your review? poor, good, great?

I think as a standalone movie it was very good.
