If its as bad as it looks then England may as well kiss the World Cup good-bye!
It all revolves around Rooney does it not?

No.

I don't like this boy, because his head is not... right. :p I mean, he already looked like a retired bokser at the age of 17. He still does.

Nevertheless, I feel sorry for him potentially missing the WC.

It may become a tough WC for England when it comes to strikers: Owen and Rooney injured, Shearer quit...

Maybe they'll end up putting Beatty, Cole, and Wright-Philips in the attack.

It's funny how everyone is saying this is the BEST English side in a long long time. I'd say it's the best English side in my lifetime yet we're so realiant on one player.

I don't know, I really don't. Ruled out for six weeks but when are these things ever really accurate?

Eriksson is an idiot for promising injured players a place in he squad for Germany - Owen, Cambell, A. Cole etc. We can't take a banged up squad. I'm so fucking pissed off at the turnip head. We're quite deep at centre half, why risk taking Cambell? Left back we're weak so we'll have to risk A. Cole. Owen isn't too much of a risk, he had a wee setback yesterday but nothing serious and doesn't really need to play 90 minutes each game. We should be taking 5 strikers anyway. Crouch, Owen and Rooney were certains. The other two should come from Defoe, Bent and Beattie. But now do you risk Rooney as well?

So die all who betray Giuliano

Sven says he is definitely taking Rooney!
I suppose he will be playing on one leg then,a bit like Beckham at the last World Cup...
Oh dear

I don't rate any of our strikers. Owen scores goals, but he's very frustrating to watch; he hardly ever passes. Rooney's the best by far, but all of the others are just complete and utter shit.

I'd take Ameobi.

Or even play Dyer up front.

I can't stand Defoe and Cole. I'd rather have John Motson playing for us.

Dyer??
Thats funny....and i watch the Toon too!
Looks like Owen might be half fit so he will play alongside that well known midget Peter Crouch

Ameobi's just short of a bit of confidence.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Sheringham and Shearer should be the strikers...

Just imagine it

Robinson
---Neville ---Terry-----Ferdinand---A.Cole

--------------------Hargreaves
--------Beckham----------------Gerrard
------------------Lampard

------------Sheringham-----Shearer

Shearer's injured. He ended his career three games shy of his own retirement. He won't even play in his own testimonial.
