Wondered why nobody posted regarding the Confed Cup this year. Is anyone following it?
I cant wait for the match Argentina vs. Germany tomorrow. I hope and think that Argentina will win. Brazil lost to Mexico yesterday in a great game. They both played great but it was nearly impossible to score against Mexico. They surprised me in a very positive way
Im curious which teams will face each other in the semi-finals. Since there are only 2 groups of 4 teams each, the First of the Argentina-Germany group will face either Brazil (in case they win against Japan and Mexico wins against Greece).
I hope Argentina will face Brazil in the finals, cause it would be a pitty if Brazil had to go home in the semi-finals :p

Yeah i been watching it too!
Always like watching Brazil..
I've a feeling Germany might sneak into the Final..home advantage & all that!
Don't really care who gets into the Final as long as its entertaining..which it has been so far!
Nice warm up for the World Cup..

Any male football will do in this offseason. Sure all the transfer talk is fun but it's no substitute for some real football. So yes I've been watching a bit of the Confederations Cup but have missed most of it because of work.

On football - what is the point of the womens Euro championship? No offense to the ladies but their top level of the game doesn't even rival League two football.

I feel the complete opposite to Turi. Football stinks. It's pre-season, and I so not miss it.

great game this afternoon - Germany 2-2 Argentina. I want to see how Brazil will do tomorrow with half of the regular starters out of the game. anyway I just hope we can see another Brazil x Argentina match up in this useless championship.

yea, but hopefully in the final match. if mexico wins today, brazil will play against germany in the semi-finals. that should be a great game, but i think brazil's gonna win. argentina will win its semi-final-match. im a optimist :p
agree with you, argentina vs. germany was a great game.

Brazil has an awesome team; they can put Adriano and Rivaldo on the bench, that says enough.

But I think the World Championchip -20 is more interesting. They play attacking, more based on technique.
Especially The Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, and Spain are having a great youth team, and I think they will play in the semi-finals.

I am not following the games, but this brazilian sub-20 team is the weakest I have ever seen.

Man, Japan nearly won today against Brazil, I think Brazil isnt that motivated as other teams but they still play great soccer but the last 2 matched showed that they're not invincible... Also great respect to Germany for the great match against Argentina, propably the best Soccer team today
Alright, we have the Semi-Finals Brazil vs. Germany on Saturday and Argentina vs. Mexico on Sunday. What do you guys think, how will the final look like?

????????
It's not because they're playing on a European way instead of a Brazilian way (so not very attacking), that they're weak?

I say that because I'm used to see brazilian sub-20 squad full of promising players with great futures upon them. this team does not have ONE single player able to become a true star in Brazil's principal team.

The Semi-Finals are on Saturday and Sunday, and the long-awaited Final match is on Wednesday, I think 20:45 european time...

Brazil overpowered old foes Argentina 4-1 to claim the Confederations Cup.
