I've heard alot about the scene when Amerigo Bonasera yells at his wife at their home, after he receives Toms phonecall... Why isnt this scene included?

Well, he doesn't exactly YELL at her, but calmly voices his concerns over what will happen now that he has been called upon for a favor by Don Vito. Before exiting to meet the Godfather, he does say to his wife that he curses the day she & Mrs. Corleone became friends.

And I too am amazed to hear that it wasn't included in the DVD - it's a wonderful scene.

It's in The Godfather Saga, and/or The Godfather: A Novel for Television (which are probably the same thing, anyway).

alot of great scenes were left out because of time constrictions, i wouldnt have had a problem with it being longer, infact i think i wouldve liked it a bit longer. Still my fav

the scene occurs between Tom calling Bonasera and Don Corleone showing up at the funeral home.

Bonasera has nightmares of Vito dumping truck fulls of bullet-ridden bodies for him to bury in the middle of the night.

I think the TV Saga an dthe Epic are the same, except for the violence cuts, and altered dialogue. Va Fan Culo becomes Besa Mi (?), . It's kind of funny, the HAPPY Italian family that doesn't swear and looks away when people get shot!

But not when they get whacked to death with an oar!
