We have the rock and hip-hop threads in the Gen Discussion, so I figured I'd start a skating thread. Anyway....I just got back from the Zumiez Couch Tour, w/ the es team. They only had Koston,Ladd, Eldrige, and Nuske. McCrank apperently blew out his knee the day before. Nuske was also hurt so he didnt skate. Ladd broke his board, so it was pretty much a 2 man demo, but it was great.

Okay, I assume this is skateboarding and not figure skating, right? Guess I'm getting old, but I don't know any of those names but I do catch the X-Games on TV now and then

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Must of been nice, but no Arto Saari or Tom Penny? I've been to a Foundation and Zero demo before, they are a bunch of fun.
Skating is one of my main hobbies (tied with watching movies), I love it. I think I have skated everyday this summer with my friends, and it has been such fun. If its rolling down a hill or ollieing a big gap, I just can't get enough.
DSC, how long have you been skating for? I'm going on four years this summer.

I've been skating for about 4, maybe 5 years. It was about the only thing that kept me sane living with my family. I dont get so many chances to skate anymore, the park is usually closed by the time I get there.
