I voted for KG but I'm surprised that Peja was on the list. He definately should at least be nominated for the award, but KG deseves it this year.

I voted for Kevin Garnett because he consistently played at a high level night in and night out. Not that the other players didn't, but KG came back with a renewed focus this year after management surrounded him with more talent last off season. It certainly looks like Minnesota is ready to shake the first round monkey off their backs this year.

I voted for KG too. no doubt he was the greatest this season. but I will not be surprised if Tim Duncan receive the award again. the NBA seems to love to award him. in my opinion, two years ago it should've been Kidd, last season it should've been Kobe, and both years Duncan got it. of course he's an awesome player, but he doesn't do anything magic like Kidd's triple-doubles, KG's 20-20 games and Kobe's clutch shots, for example.

well, that's it, I'm just praying to anyone but Duncan get MVP honors

Don't forget the T'wolves didn't become good until they got Sprewell and Cassell. I think Garnett is playing at the same high level he has been for years, but he can't carry a team by himself, as Iverson did when he won the MVP in 01'. I give it to Duncan... again.

Thats a good point Freddie, but Garnett led the T'Wolves to the number one seed in the West which is not the easiest thing to do as we all know. He also might give the T'Wolves their first series win as well. Plus, MVP's make players around them better. Cassell made it to his first all-star game and was on the NBA all-second team this year at the age of 34. Without Garnett, he most likely doesnt get any of those awards. And for those who voted Shaq, jus wonderin why?

in my opinion, Garnett just didn't make the T'Wolves good before because he is a terrific player, not a magician. that team wasn't that good until they get Cassell and Spree, and it was right where it belonged.

ABC jus said Garnett will be named the MVP tomorrow so it looks like the league and most of us agreed that he deserved it this year.
