As you all may or may not know, the Bengals have Carson Palmer and Jon Kitna who actually sucks horribly but everyone thinks he is good. The Bengals did not play Palmer this year because he was a rookie. Next year, I think he should play and the Bengals would be even better. Does anyone else think he will or will not play? I really hope he does.

maybe your right about Kitna, but I dont see any reason why Palmer needs to come in now. Until Kitna fucks up, which he probably will, Palmer is looking like the bench warmer for at least another season.

As long as the Bengals win with Kitna, you should keep him starting. But he'll be 32 next season, so he doesn't have to much time left. Don't be afraid of keeping Palmer on the bench for another year or two. You got to be fragile with a top picked QB.

Steve McNair sat around for a year or two before he got significant playing time, and it worked out pretty well for him.

If it aint broke don't fix it. Why do you think Rudi still played most of the time even when Dillon came back from injury. Glad to see the mardy fuck leave, any ideas where he is going?

TG: I have no idea where he is, I heard that we are getting another running back but I think we should get a cornerback to replace Artrell Hawkins and a safety to replace Mark Roman.

We need to rid ourselves of that other horrible cornerback, Jeff Burris also.

RB: Corey Dillon will be good at first but if his team sucks the first year or two he will cry like a puss and start running like a woman. But if he can help your team, I hope he goes to them, as long as we get some better people from our secondary in return.

Hey Jeff Burris is awesome!!! He is one of the best cornerbacks in our division. But i definately dont agree with Danny Montana on anything. Leave Kitna in untill he makes some mistakes then take him out and put in Palmer. Palmer can learn from him while hes on the bench.Oh Yea Jermi Johnson Sux.

I think Cincinnatti will go to the playoffs next year. They might even take the bowl. All they need is a secondary and they take off. Marvin Lewis is a great coach.

We are cousins. He said Jeremi Johnson sucks because I like him and he says he doesnt agree with anything that I say because I think Jeff Burris needs to go. (My cousin caught his glove after a preseason game).

RB: I know that Corey Dillon's talents would be a significant addition to any team's running game, but don't you think that the Giants have a decent halfback in Tiki Barber? I know that Barber has had problems with fumbles, but so has Ahman Green, and they were corrected for the most part.

I think Barber is highly underrated, and could be great if he has a well structured team around him. I could be wrong of course, since I don't follow the G-men all that much. What I do know is that they were an under-achieving team this year, but definitely are a potent threat next season.

Amen to every thing you said Caporegime. I think Barber is very under rated, and everytime I hear somebody say he is nothing but a fumble machine, it gets me angry, because he is much better than that.

But I believe that Dillon is a very good back, and given the right oppurtunity, he could be one of the best. You dont refuse somebody like Corry Dillon. But I admit that the way I said it kind of sounded like I was suggesting that Tiki was horrible, which is not the case.

Danny is about 1 year older than me. Anyways, Rudi Johnson will play good for us next year. They have two of the best recievers in the game today. Chad Johnson and Peter Warrick. If Kitna plays good next year, then the Bengals will be awesome.

RB and Caporegime- Your opinions are both correct but, what if New York did get Dillon. They could line both of them up in the backfield together. And with two good halfbacks there, the defense will have no clue who to go after.

Lol. I figured that Danny.

But if the Gmen had both Dillon and Barber, it would choke their cap to death.

Yes, their salary cap would be high, but they will have an awesome team (even though their team is awesome already). I love Jeremy Shockey and the way he plays. He has a lot of talent.

Shockey is prolly my favorite player. The way he plays and the intensity he brings to the game makes him such a valued asset to the team. I hope he stays a giant for a long long time.

I agree that New York would probably be capped out if they had both Barber and Dillon. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think Shockey gets a little more credit than necessary. Yes, he is arguably the best tight end in football, and he plays with great intensity, but he is just a tight end. That position was usually considered inferior in footall until recent years.

The Giants have great receivers in Ike Hilliard and Amani Toomer, and I think they should be the primary targets. On the other hand, a talented tight end adds a triple threat and takes pressure off the wideouts. I just can't see a TE as a team's MVP, but that's just my opinion.

Hilliard and Toomer are the primary targets most of the time. But when a team comes along and is stupid enough to put a linebacker on shockey instead of a safety, then Shockey is he is gonna have a field day. But you can guarantee that at the end of the year, Toomer is gonna have the most yards and catches.

I agree with RaggingBull. When they come out with a 3 wide reciever, 1 tight end spread, all they have to do is pass to shockey because a linebacker will be guarding him. Unless the defense is playing zone, then Shockey will pick the zone apart, because hes a smart tightend.(GPA=3.8 in college)

What's the latest with Corey? I still havn't heard any rumours about where he's going yet. No one seems interested in him.

It also looks like wonderkid Palmer is going to be taking most of your snaps in training which may harm your chances at another play off challenge. And if Kitna decides to stay then you'll have a good back up in him.

There hasn't been any news on Dillon lately but you are correct about Palmer. Lewis just recently stated that Palmer would be our main quarterback at a conference

Also you're not gonna leave the first overall pick from the draft sit on the bench for longer than one season - especially the price he's getting paid. Didn't Michael Vick start near enough straight away for the Falcons, the list could go on for Carr, Couch etc.
