First of all, does anyone know what the name "Frankie Five Angels" means or where it came from? And, I'm pretty sure this topic has been discussed. If it has just give me a link. Why did the Rosato brothers say to Frankie just before they were about to kill him, "Michael Corleone says hello."

First question... Frankie - his first name; Five- pent (prefix meaning "5"); Angels- angeli

"Frankie Five Angels" comes from "Frankie Pentangeli"

As for your second question, I'm sure someone can find you a link. It's one of the most intriguing but unanswered questions in the trilogy.

In my view, the Rosatos said it so that Richie the bartender would have something to tell the cops that would implicate Michael.
