Think: Italy will win.
Want: Italy to win.

Portugal is my second choice for both categories.

Hang on, we're still in the qualifying rounds. But who I want to win would be Eire or England. But both don't really have a real chance. Eire might not even qualify yet.

After Italy's heart breaking loss in Euro 2000 and rather disappointing showing in the World Cup its hard to root against the Azzurri. Personally, I'm backing Turkey but Germany, England, Portugal and a number of teams are poised to make a strong showing. Should be a great tournament.

Obviously i would (if we qualify) love Ingeeerlund to win,but we've yet to get there, especially depending on the hooligans behaviour!!!!! No way will the FROGS win, so if its not us,it'll be............................ Spain or Portugal.
P.S Are Spain still in????????

Don Jasani-

I hate to sound like I am crying but the Italian side was robbed in the World Cup. The refs were atrocious! IMHO Italia played well enough to win it all.

Euro Cup- Can anyone stop Vieri(If he's healthy?)Maldini is still the best defender in the world.

Too bad Marco van Basten can't play anymore, I know it's a long time ago, but, I'd love to see him playing again.

RosarioAlaia, yes there was some questionable officiating in the World Cup and I agree with you about Vieri (he's one of my favorite players). What can you say about Paolo Maldini? He's won the Champions League what like three or four times and he has a huge number of caps for Italy.

When he is fit on form, nobody beats Vieri for sheer goalscoring power. I go through phases of liking different strikers. Henry, Shearer, Ronaldo, Shevchenko and Vieri always top my list.
But at the moment, it seems the best player who can play for Italy right now is Dario Hubner. What a fantastic player he is, scoring week in-week out.

As for Maldini, won't he be very close to at least international retierment soon? And what better players to replace him than Nesta and Cannavaro. Do you guys rate Totti? I think he's a hot-cold player, and too selfish of a player to be taken for granted. I'd much rather have Del Piero in the team.
