I recieved a call the other day from the store I reserved my xbox 360 from and they told me that Microsoft is not going to be able to meet the quote for the systems (what else is new, microsofrt screwing people). I asked the guy about it and he told me that they are going to miss the quote by about 30-50%, I was just wondering if any one else has been told this or have heard differently?

They have an XBOX360 on display at the Wal-Mart I worked at. They don't have any playable games, but you can tinker around with the controller, and mess around with all the Xbox Live features. It's really nice, and the system looks sweet when its right in front of you. But I'm still waiting for the PS3. As for your question, I haven't heard anything about it, but the news doesn't surprise me. BTW, I found this interesting article on 1up.com: XBOX360 - Dreamcast 2.0?

The sad part is I really don't want the system that bad, the only reason I am buying it is for Oblivion

I have decided to cancel my pre-order for the 360, the only reason I am going to get one is for Oblivion anyways so I figured I may as well wait until april when the game comes out.

That's true. Console makers always lose on the machine, and win money with the games. But MS was exagerating, they really lost a huge amount of money with their Xbox. I think Nintendo with their Gamecube was the only one who was doing a good job with both their console, and their games, in terms of profit. The Cube hardware made, or break-even, or a small loss, or a small win, I don't rememeber that.
