Well it's official according to Gamespot. GTA San Andreas will be released on PS2 in October with different dates for countries. Here's the link

What interest me the most however was that they said GTA4 will be the last one made for the current consoles out, which might hint there's other plans for ps3 and new systems.

Personally, I'm a bit dishearted with the PS3. I don't like their idea of "beyond gaming" and the like...they seem to want to make the Playstation 3 some kind of appliance that works just as well with a toaster oven as it does with a television. :p

I am seriously considering the X-Box 2 over the PS3 depending upon some things...will the PS3 graphically equate with X-Box2? Will there be a built in hard-drive?
