How cool would that be? Have your own virtual crime syndicate, ordering hits, offering protection, making people offers they can't refuse. If done right, it would be the most revolutionary gaming experience ever. Thoughts?

Quit playing, I want to see official confirmation that they are making the next GTA online and also I agree that it would revolutionize gaming forever.
I would just assume that GTA online doesnt happen. Cause the second it does, thats the second I just might as well quit school, tell my parents to spend my college fund, and shack up in my room for a good 10 years with an unlimited supply of snapple and chex mix.

I read in a gaming magazine (either EGM or PSM), and they said that the next GTA will be online. But it still hasn't been confirmed. Or I might have read it on 1up.com . It will also be the last GTA for the PS2, or any of the current systems.
