I saw last night's "Third Watch" season finale. The actor Vincent Curatola, better known to us as New York mobster Johnny Sack, is a recurring character on "Third Watch". He is the father of hotheaded NYPD officer Maurice Boscorelli, AKA "Boscoe". And I noticed that Boscoe's mother is played by Patti D'Arbanville, who we better know as the "Lady Shylock", Lorraine Calluzzo.

How ironic. In one series, Curatola's character is Patti's husband. In another series, Curatola's character orders her execution!

And a little side note: on "Third Watch", we see other actors from "The Sopranos" on occaision. We see Joe Lisi (Dick Barone) and Joe Badalucco Jr (Little Jimmy Altieri) a lot. I've also seen Robert Funaro (Eugene Pontecorvo) and Raymond Franza (Donny K) on the show.

Excellent post. I watched Third watch for the last few weeks. It is ironic about the characters. Vincent and Patti give some performance, married on one show, Johnny ordering her killed on the other. What a finale last night for Third Watch with the hitmen shooting the heck out of the room that Bosco, Davis, and Cruz are in. I hope they renew the show.
