Finally purchased my first dvd series of the Sopranos. Already within essentially 9 hours of owning them i've seen the first 6 episodes. I only planned to watch 2 or 3 a day. The wierd thing is is that i've seen them all before but they're still compulsive viewing. I almost daren't buy the other series' because i'll probably not leave my house for a long time. Phew!!

I know what you mean, my friend was round the other day wanting to watch an episode as he has never seen it before, we spent the whole watching sopranos and needless to say the whole of series one.

Before I got HBO, I would rent the season and I think I got 5 days to view them. Ha ha. I did the same thing. I watched one right after another. Can't explain it, but it is addictive.

Now HBO has been reruning from Season one. I make sure to tell everyone not to call me on Sunday nights between 8 & 9, even tho I've seen them all before.

Trouble is, the episodes aren't just half an hour--we're talking an hour an episode by the time it gets to season three, and longer in season four. Turi, hope you ain't busy with college at the moment!

When I watch each episode it feels like an individual movie instead of just a TV show. Thats one of the things that I like most about the Sopranos is that it feels like a great movie with 13 new sequals each year (or 2).

I 've rented the first 3 seasons disk by disk and the same thing happened.
