I saw a picture of the house on another message board, and always thought it wasnt a real house, but a friend of mine said her brother has seen the real house and somebody really lives there..is that true? Where is it located in North Jersey exactly.

Imagine lending your house out for filming purposes. Can you imagine how "handsomely" this family was paid??? Had to have been a bundle for that kind of inconvenience. TIS

I can't say I've detetected any inconsistencies with the "set" house and the real house. I'll say one thing tho... It is a beautiful house. I wouldn't complain if I lived in a home like that. TIS

TIS & SC, didn't they drive you by the house on your Sopranos tour? I would think that would be a highlight.

Hi PLaw! It sure would have been a highlight. However, they said they were not allowed to tour by the house. I imagine it would be quite annoying for the neighborhood, although pretty cool for us. If I am not mistaken, the house was in a totally different part of NJ then the other sites we saw. TIS

Originally posted by The Godfather: You guys it is in North Caldwell, I thought it was right by everything, like Satriales and what not. The (already long) tour was only able to cover the areas of Newark, Jersey City, Lodi, Harrison and surrounding areas. Hitting Caldwell would've added well over an hour -- or two -- to the tour. It's unfortunate, because that area has many spots as well. Ahh, well, I've already seen The House. SC, isn't that the pic I took? Maybe not, but I did post a couple shots of it on this board a while back. Guess what? They're gonna be shooting in North Caldwell on Dec 5th directly across the street from my friend's house -- at his neighbor's house (I've seen the place). A keg party scene. Wonder if I can crash it for the free beer?
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

I had saved that photo some time back, and I can't remember from where I got it. I hafta work that Friday (Dec. 5th), otherwise I'd join ya at the keg blast. (That scene probably won't air until Season 6...I think Season 5 is in the can already).

They're always shooting the last few episodes a month or two before the season starts; they've got plenty to air first, as they're in post w/ the later ones.
