Has anyone seen the commercial for Comcast cable? Maybe it's an old one so you've seen it already. Anyway, there is a couple sitting on their couch in the living room and they are discussing how they live in New Jersey and they were REALLY looking forward to the Sopranos premiere. They were all ready, and then a tree fell on their satellite or something. So they missed the premiere episode. And now they want to switch to Comcast cable, like their neighbors, or something. Has anyone seen it? I thought it was cute.

I haven't seen it or heard of it, but it does sound cute. Is it on HBO or on regular broadcast channels?

Are they showing the commercial in Tennessee? I can understand why they'd blitz it in NJ: Comcast is a very big cable provider here. And the entire state is obsessed with Sopranos. The Star Ledger, our biggest daily newspaper, always devotes an entire section to Sopranos on the Sunday of the season premier. All work stops on Monday mornings, when people abandon productive work to discuss the previous night's episode. The air practically hums with the Sopranos themesong during the season.

Damn! I wish they did that here in California! I'd love to stop work to talk about the Sopranos. It's advertised, but not that much, except for on HBO and only one other person other than myself at work even watch it. I wonder why Tenneseee has that commercial and California doesn't? Unless I missed it.

Yes, I saw it here at home (Tennessee). I can't remember which channel I was watching though. It wasn't HBO, I don't get that. But I do have Comcast Cable, so it could have been on one of the Comcast channels or one of the local channels, I'm not sure. It was so cute. I wish you all could see it.
