Welcome Zo! Funny you should ask this now, since I was just there last week with Geoff & SC. I can tell you it is a real club called "Satin Dolls". They of course change the sign while filming "The Sopranos". We got to go inside and it does look just as you see on tv. It is actually a "strip club" (only they don't go topless).

As far as where it is, I'll let a NYer tell you that. Couldn't give you directions on how to get there. Why? You going???

Zo, when Geoff or SC see it they can give you directions since we were just there. I don't think it was the middle of nowhere, but they'll tell you.

We saw "Pizzland", Saitriale's Pork Store, and the cemetary used in the Sopranos. The highlight tho, was definitely "Bada Bings". They couldn't take us by the Soprano house however, because people actually live in it and tourist weren't allowed.

"Satin Dolls" is hardly in the middle of nowhere. It is located on RT 17 South, in Lodi, NJ. If you're coming from Upstate NY, you can get on RT 17S as soon as you hit the Jersey border.
FWIW, the girls aren't topless. ...And I had my bachelor party there in 1989.

I pass the Bada bing all the time when I drive down to Jersey for the Giant games. It looks like a pretty nice club. I got some buddies that have been there, but Im too young.
