this is my first sopranos post, so im not sure if it has been mentioned but....

in the episode where tony gets shot at, was that supposed to be in honor of the godfather?

in other words, tony gets out of his car, goes and gets ORANGE juice, gets shot at, and runs back to the car.....

when i saw that episode, i immediatley thought it showed those similarities to GF on purpose, in a way to honor the greatest Mafia epic....

what do u guys think?

Welcome to the Sopranos forum! I don't think it's been asked before, or at least in a very long time, but I believe you are absolutely right. There's loads more to find in all seasons, particularly the first two. I'll let you find them yourself.

ive only seen the episodes once, due to lack of money to buy dvds! lemme in on the secrets to the show. they sound interesting. i never noticed the orange juice thing. i did notice uncle june trying to kill tony.....michael had fredo killed. that is a similarity i think. gimme more

Unfortunately I have never watched The Sopranos, because I don't have HBO, but I had nothing to do and I was reading this board and I saw that you have mentioned another quotation to The Godfather. that's amazing! Before start watching TV at all, people should watch The Godfather so they would understand the bunch of quotations to this film in everywhere. In the Godfather trilogy section I have posted a topic about it, and I know about quotations like that in Seinfeld, That's 70 show, my wife and kids, you've got mail and some others...you who live in USA must know about many others. well I just wanted to mentione it, because it's impressive!
