Could not believe the trailer for next weeks episode which said there are only three episodes left of the UK channel four run!!

"Who will turn?" seems to be the big question, Carmella, Furio, Paulie etc....

Bit of a shame that I know in advance how the series ends, but the clips of Paulie being pally pally with Johnny Sac are interesting.

Last night's episode was the second cracker in a row. The intervention meeting for Christopher was very painful, yet funny at the same time. Never have I wanted anyone to be given a slap more than him at that moment. Good old Paulie never fails to rise to the occasion.

Hopefully Tony does not come a visiting to Paulie's wee flat, I dread to think of the initial anger when he sees his painting on the wall, another very funny sub plot though!

Last nights episode was a cracker eh!! The intervention meeting was the funniest thing it was like almost surreal in it's cast of characters and the events mentioned (like the suffocation of the dog sat on by Christopher).
Tony as a second rate Napoleon in that picture was sooo funny, he has to come to the flat and see that LOL

Fantastic episode, once again, proving this season has not looked back since the murder of Ralphie. Yes, Christopher I hope will get back on track.

Who will turn? Furio, I'm going for, due to the tempting of Carmela. I hope to God that Paulie doesn't do the dirty on Tony. If he does, I think he will be forced into it by New York. But I can only hope, because once Tony finds out Paulie is gone. This was the second best episode this season, after last week's. Let's hope it keeps it up. What makes it even better is the fact that I don't have any idea as to what will happen at the finale. No spoilers please!

NOTE: At the beginning credits, Joe Pantaliano's name shows up, but Ralphie died last week, and was only spoke of this week.

I suppose he was included in the "previously in The Sopranos" skit at the beginning.........

Shaping up nicely after a comparatively slowish start to the season.

Great pick up of the pace in the last two weeks however, bring on the next 3 episodes!

Would be a good time to then start watching from the very beginning I think. Shame about the lack of Meadow in the last few episodes though, apart from Furio attempting to spell her name on a present (Meado?)

Bring back Meadow!!

I've just had a thought: what the hell has happened to Raymond Curto? In season three, he gets into a car and asks an FBI agent whether he wants him (Ray) to wear a wire or not to a Livia's wake. This happened more than a season ago! I know Chase tends to leave storylines at loose ends, but this is unacceptable; a capo turned government rat? Little Jimmy Altieri didn't get away with it; why should Curto!?

I am quite sorry, I am new to this forum..

I am not understanding... are you talking about season 4? I've had the season 4 divx's sitting on my hard drive for months and I know its been around longer (bear with me, I'm a new Sopranos fan) but you speak like you have not seen them?

or am I horribly mistaken and season 5 is already airing? (not possible?!)

Hi Valharra,

No it is series 4 we are talking about.

The UK is airing the fourth series on terrestrial TV just now for the first time, hence the three episodes to go. It has already been shown on satallite, but I managed (and quite a few others!) managed to miss that run.

Series 4 is not even available on official DVD release as yet.

Without having yet seen it, obviously, I would doubt that to be the case very much!

Surely with only three to go, it would be beneficial to watch all three rather than just "cherry pick" the last two?

Will have to tape it tonight as I'm going to see Scotland attempt to win a game of football for once against the might of New Zealand.....

Well, it certainly did take a step back from the two previous episodes, but still fantastic viewing nonetheless. The dream sequences were amazing, David Lynch style! The penultimate episode I always find is the better of the last two, so we will just have to see. One thing I know is that this season is really hotting up, and I can't wait for next Tuesday!!! Who will turn? Furio? Paulie? I hope the latter doesn't. Furio, well, he has two episodes in which to have an affair with Carmela and get found out and get whacked. Tony must be quick if he is to find out!

David Lynch style, I like it! Now there is a man who should be a guest director one week......

Cannot understand how anyone can say you would have been as well to miss out on this episode.

- Setting up the finale with New York
- Saying goodbye, maybe, to Dr Melfi after 4 years
- AJ being an arse
- Paulie Walnuts coming under suspicion
- Uncle Junior in fantastic swearing form once again, one word is always enough!

Downside was the constant Janice (no surprises there) and Bobby story. Not too important in the scheme of things and given far too much airtime.

Preview of next weeks show looked electric!!
