I didnt like AJ's friend on Sunday night episode..He kept on referring to Godfather. To think that all Italians are criminals and have millions of dollars. All he knows about Italians is they are in the Mafia. Plus he had big red hair and an ugly face. I didnt like that..hearing him burns my ass cause he's ignorant to culture.

I think it's just for the sake of the storyline. I am full Sicilian and so are others here on the BB. We've discussed this topic before, and you will find no one here on the board feels that way at all. It's only the ignorant people that would stereotype and ethnicity or race. I do think we are all above that.

If someone did approach me and seriously thought that my family was mafia just because of an Italian name, I would be mad as well, but I can't say I have had that experience. Lot of people joke about it, but I know they are not serious. Don't worry about the people here, they know the score.

I didn't care for any of A.J.'s friends either but it didn't really have to do with the GF references. They just seemed liked a bunch of jaggoffs to me.

AJ is also a jaggoff, so it kinda works out.

Speaking of AJ, I'm going through season 1 again and was wondering: What is the deal with AJ's obsession jumping around on his bed swatting flies??

Does he do it more than once?

In at least 2 episodes. In "The Legend of Christopher Moltisanti," when Meadow comes in to warn him about the feds confiscating their PCs (and thus, AJ's downloaded porn), he's swatting at 'em with a fly swatter; and in the one where he was fighting with the boy at school (I think either "Pax Soprano" or "Down Neck"), he's doing it with a baseball glove when Carmela walks in to confront him about the torn shirt. Weird.
