with all the bosses and acting bosses getting put away or arrested lately do you think there is there a chance certain families may prosper seeing as how finding out who the new boss is will become harder for authorities. for example, nobody really knows who's running the Genovese family right now... some say Gigante from prison, some say Mario Giganta (vincents older brother), some still say Quiet Dom Cirillo. The Gambinos are rumored to be ran by Nicky Corozzo or his brother Joseph Corozzo, but who really knows with all the shit goin on lately. Joel Cacace just got 20 years so whos running the Colombos now? Can all of this be in the mobs favor for the future or just be an even bigger blow as usual. Joe Massinos gone and now Basciano (acting boss) is being held in a detention center as well. Thats one case that leads you to beleive LCN is fucked, lol.

Then there is the Cosa Nuova, the mysterious new form of the Mafia. Who, knows this could be pretty full proof and either help the current 5 families or help form new ones. We could be looking at another 80 years of the Mafia.
"I never wanted this for you. I work my whole life--I don't apologize--to take care of my family, and I refused to be a fool, dancing on the string held by all those bigshots. I don't apologize--that's my life--but I thought that, that when it was your time, that you would be the one to hold the string. Senator Corleone; Governor Corleone." -Don Vito Corleone to his son, Michael

The Mafia is interesting, and a very intriguing topic. But if they die, its better for society. I love mob films, I love reading book on the Mafia, and playing videogames about the mob, but to say that the Mafia has benefited me would be a complete falsehood. I haven't seen my life get any better because of the Mafia. So if they're dead, good riddance.
"Growing up my dad was like 'You have a great last name, Galifianakis. Galifianakis...begins with a gal...and ends with a kiss...' I'm like that's great dad, can we get it changed to 'Galifianafuck' please?" -- Zach Galifianakis
