whats the matter with this board lately, its like dead!... One of the biggest events in mob history is re-occuring and nobody discusses it? Sal Vitale, underboss of the Bonanno Crime Family took the stand against his Boss and brother in law Joseph Massino.. so wheres the threads guys? lol c'mon! ... and another question, why have there been NO pictures of the court sessions like there was when Gravano testified against Gotti?

Vitale said his beef with his brother in law was that Massino put him "on the shelf"--let him carry the title of underboss but with no power in the family. And, when Vitale was arrested three years ago, Massino "cut him off." Meanwhile, he said, he was the guy who got the order to whack Alphonse (Sonny Red) Indelicato and Dominic (Sonny Black) Napolitano, among others. I don't believe that the judge in the Gotti trial for the Castellano murder allowed photographs--we got artists' drawings. Maybe the artist's sketchpad isn't wide enough to provide room for a drawing of Big Joey .

I want more from this Bonanno trial tho there are 7 rats and NO photos! GF, as you probably know, judges generally have the discretion to allow or not allow photography during trials. Few do--they generally regard still or video photography as "undecorous." I'd think the judge in the Massino case would be especially reluctant to allow photography because so many of the rats are in the Witness Protection Program. I saw that photo of Da Bull with his right hand raised (Sammy "swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth"--what a joke! ) on the cover of his book. I think it was posed. I also saw those videos of Gotti with his lawyer, Bruce Cutler, but they were taken when the verdict came in at a previous trial (might have been the RICO case) where he was acquitted. As far as I know, no photography was allowed at the Castellano murder trial, where Da Bull testified.
