Does anyone know if the Mafia has ever been in Cincinnati? I remember last year I heard about a story where a dead member was found in an alley, but it happened a long time ago and I don't remember if it said that it was actually in Cincinnati. So does anyone know if anything big has happened here and when they were here?

Thanks,
Riley

CINCINNATI is a very active hub for
the GENOVESE family,gambling on
sports,college b-ball,baseball and
football, they also have some very strong
interest in a couple of union companies
that sub-contract work in cleveland,where
the cleveland faction is very strong in
legit money making business, the new red lobster
in cincinnati was built by a good friend of
mine, that job was a very mobbed up job.

Is or was? I know there used to be alot of organized crime across the river in Newport, KY, but that was in the 1930's. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only mafia that I know about Cincinnati having is Russian. And assuming you live here, you know that almost all of the murders that happen here are black on black, and 9 times out of 10, drug related.

In this same forum, scroll down for a thread titled Organized Crime in Newport, Kentucky.

RizzoInTheBox posted a recently published newspaper article about organized crime in Newport. Turnbull also posted with an observation about its relationship to GFII.
