I've recently just finally took the time to read more about the current boss of the Bonnano Family, Joe Massino and really enjoyed learning that he turned the Bonanno Family totally around, making them the 2nd most powerful family behind the Geneovese Family in NY. I dont know if this still holds truth today, I'll have to check out GangLand and see what they've said about him recently. Anybody think Joe Massino is a prime example that the mob will forever last and still have its bosses in the future who can turn the families into the once money making secret cosa nostra legends they used to be?

Massino is the best of an indifferent lot of losers who headed the Bonanno family in the last decade or so. He looks good only by comparison--and only because the other families (especially the Gambinos) are in total chaos. He was a big pal of Gotti's, too.
