I remember reading somewhere that in Chicago there are certain blocks where there are murals and pictures drawn of Al Capone. Kind of in a graffiti style. I was wondering if anyone knows-
in this picture with Johnny Depp-is that Al Capone?? i dunno..kinda looks like him.

Fantastic drawing. Doesn't look exactly like Capone, but a great drawing nonetheless.

It's not Capone--it's Edward G. Robinson playing Caesar Enrico Bandello, aka "Little Caesar," in the movie of the same name. Little Caesar was a Capone-like gangster, one of many portrayed in films, like Tony Camonte (Paul Muni) in the original "Scarface." You can almost certainly buy a poster of Robinson playing "Little Caeser" on line or in a store that sells movie posters.

great drawing! the drawing was far from Edward Robinson in "Key Largo" (the only movie i saw with edward robinson). he's older in Key Largo, his movie with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Baccall. . .

Even better Edward G. line from that film: "Is that the smell of myrrh in your hair...or the smell of sheep?"

...but he was at his absolute nastiest in "Key Largo"--made Little Caesar look like a choirboy.
"Key Largo" is a great film!

I agree with you Senor Turnbull. the first time i saw the movie, the first thing i thought of Edward Robinson was he was one of the Bad Guys in the American movie at that time . . .
