I love animals too and I would got for a black panther (no political connotation here), a Siberian tiger or a wolf, my favorite animals. But I love animals too much to treat wild ones as pets so I'd stick to cats which have no pb living with humans. Plus I think it's the perfect animal for a gangster since cats (especially black ones) are associated with evil, magic, mystery, manipulation, obscure powers and strange negative stuff in general. That would perfectly suit a Don's personality IMHO. Whereas dogs would fit the soldiers since they're associated with authority and repression at the ground level (cf police dogs, Nazi dogs...).

And I would call him Lucifer or Mephisto... or Fuggedaboutit !

I personally like bulls. You know the funny clips where you see bulls maul people? And sharks. I can't imagine either sitting on my lap whilst I stroke them. Guess i'lls settle for a mouse named Mickey.

This was not a personal pet of mine. Just thought of something that would be complete opposite of what you would expect a Don to have, hence, "Bambi's" buddy flower.
