I do believe people will visit his grave out of curiousity. I know if I was in NY I would visit his grave (hoping that the feds wouldn't be near by taking pictures ) As to where his grave is I believe it's in Queens, NY I don't remember the name of the cemetary I'll leave that open for SC or other knowlegable members of the board.

BTW love your avatar, I assume your a J. Gotti fan.

Gotti is buried in St. John's Cemetery in the Middle Village section of Queens, NY.

If you're into checking out graves of the infamous, you'll hit a bonanza here.... buried in the same cemetery are Carlo Gambino, Vito Genovese, Lucky Luciano, Joe Profaci, Salvatore Maranzano, Joe Colombo, Carmine Galante and Aniello Dellacroce.

WOW! Talk about hitting a jackpot! I didn't know that all of them were buried in the same cemetary. Even the old cronnies huh?

Thanks for the info SC.

There are a few other cemeteries in the immediate area that have their share of infamous graves, so its unlikely that St. John's is the only place that would have them. (Greenwood Cemetery's alumni include Albert Anastasia, Joey Gallo and Johnny Torrio - Cavalry Cemetery has Joe "The Boss" Masseria and Thomas Luchese - and Holy Cross Cemetery's interred include Frankie Yale and Philip Mangano).

For whatever reason, St John's is the final resting place of the BIG names.

FH - Consider this photo of Gotti's gravemarker a belated birthday present.

For the gravesites of hundreds of celebs, including our dearly departed Mafia friends, go to: http://findagrave.com/

I think Willie Moretti's is especially interesting.
