Really, a ghetto? I certainly believe that it was very dangerous and that it was, in those days, probably the neighborhood with the most mob activity of the entire US but one of the most important criteria for a neighborhood to be called a ghetto is median income, it has to be very low. Most of Bensonhurst, from what I can gather was middle class. I'm not trying to lecture you or anything, because I never lived there, I am just wondering why you would call it a ghetto because I never heard anyone call it that before..
