I had to laugh when his wife says "he provides" in the trailer.

It's common knowledge that his income (or lack thereof) and inability to support his family was a source of constant strife between the two of them in the 60's and 70's.

He was a degenerate gambler and deadbeat who couldn't stay out of prison, even when he was boss.

We are talking about someone who hustled his wife and newborn child out of a hospital in the dead of night because he was too broke to pay the bill.

And you have to laugh when it's said that people who owe gambling debts to mobsters deserve to be beaten, as if it's one rule for guys like Joey Merlino and John Gotti and another for Joe Shmo.

Guys like Merlino and Gotti were bosses and they constantly racked up debts they couldn't/wouldn't pay!
