It´s interesting because there are some noticeable "messeges" in the painting. For example, look at the way Gambino and Profaci are looking at eachother when Anastasia "butts in" between them. Also, look at how Colombo is gesturing like he´s saying "come on, you want a piece of this?" and Castellano is trying to restraint him. Far left is Bonanno and Maranzano. Maranzano is showing with his hand "this is the way we´re going to do this" and at the same time shielding the two of them from the others (with his hand). Bonanno seems to look at him with suspiscion. Vito Genovese is nervous (touching his tie) in the presence of Masseria.


Looks like Lucchese standing next to Genovese. Weren't they allies too?
