A bottle of American beer is about $3.00 American, give or take. An import Like Heineken is closer to $5.00 a bottle. A pint on tap is about $2.00 during most happy hours.
Of course that's in the Bronx and the other outer boroughs. Manhattan prices are MUCH higher.
