Gioacchino (Jack) Reina

The son of a founding Mafia patriarch, he was a shadow soldier of the old Reina/Gagliano/Lucchese Family. Jack Reina was for all intents and purposes a “sleeper” to the general public, and to many in organized crime. His dad was the boss...and here is his biography.

Good article. The low-key international guys are very interesting and provide context to the layered web of Cosa Nostra. People always forget about the little names that
cultivate the connections and revenue, who make the "big shots" so powerful.

Your selection of early Gagliano/Luchesse guys is great.

Definitely Peppino, I fully agree. In fact its the lesser known, or anonymous guys who I find to be the most interesting. Thats why on our Buttonguys site I have focused on dozens and dozens of low-profile guys from all six NY-NJ area families. Some were straightened out, some were close associates, but all contributed greatly to "This Thing" and what it was.

....And thank you for the compliment about my work. I greatly appreciate it as does my partner. Collectively we strive to bring our readers the best content that we can.

I am actually working on several more knock-around guys and goodfellas right now who I think you may enjoy as well. And I am trying to complete an expose about some mob subject matter that is usually rarely exposed or written about. Just to change up the pace a bit for us. Hopefully that one will be completed within several more weeks.

Anyway, we will most likely have another bio out by Wednesday so hang in there for me ok pal... cause we're coming! Lol
