Hey guys
I just got back from Mississippi. A good friend of mine has family there and i had to go there with him to help out his family.
I thought it was a nice state at least where we were, it had great southern charm. We were in Pontotoc County.
His family said Mississippi was at its best in the 1950’s and was a beautiful state but it has changed a lot and like some other states, not for the better. I really liked where we were though. Old Mississippi had a lot of pride.
They say the best counties to go to in Mississippi are Pontotoc, Quitman, and Prentiss. The worst are Jefferson and Holmes as well as a bunch of others.
Anyway, i was shocked how much i liked that part of mississippi. Just be careful, some of those former southern charmed counties in mississippi are infested with crime. Parts of Tennessee are like that as well. What a sin !
