Bob Marley tried to make peace between the gangs allued with the pnp and jlp. So he made a show where the leader of the pnp party and the jlp party would both be on stage shaking hands. During the show, only the leader of pnp came, so bob marley was on stage with the pnp leader.
So posses that were allied with the jlp , saw that like bob marley was showing is allegiance to the PNP movement. So the shower posses put a hit on him.

The Shower Posse and the Colombian cartels changed the way foreign gangs acts in america. The FBI cracked down those organized crime groups so hard, because in the 80s they were so violent.
They acted as if they were in jamaica or colombia, killing without no regard for life.
