The case of the so-called 'tattookillers' continues on Monday in court in Rotterdam. Two of the four suspects, Brian P. and Henk K., have to answer for the death of their 'buddy' Onno Kuut and the hiding of the corpse by burying it in Hoek van Holland. His body was found in the dunes on March 25, 2009.

Surinamese businessman nicknamed 'Escobar' in his country and suspected of large-scale cocaine smuggling has been stuck here in the Netherlands since October. The Public Prosecution Service keeps President Desi Bouterse's party friend in jail here.
The Public Prosecution Service The Hague confirms this to De Telegraaf. It is the rice magnate Radj O. (55) who was arrested in the Netherlands after justice in Suriname issued an international investigation order in March last year. According to the judiciary in Suriname, he is behind a submarine with which cocaine is transported and a plane with almost 500 kilos of coke. Both were discovered on its site in the area of Saramacca in March of last year.

The investigation and the arrest are very sensitive in Suriname. It's is a public secret that Radj O. is one of the major financiers of the NDP party of Bouterse. In the Netherlands, Bouterse still has to serve a sentence of eleven years for cocaine trafficking.

80 million in drug money pumped into Spanish real estate
Dutch 'banker' drug gang arrested in Spain

CALPE - A 51-year-old Dutchman was arrested in southeastern Spain on suspicion of money laundering from drug criminals. According to Spanish media, the man was recently arrested in Calpe, 55 kilometers northeast of Alicante.

He would launder income from cocaine smugglers mainly through a real estate trade in Alfaz del Pi, not far from Calpe. It would involve more than 80 million euros in drug money that was brought in from the Netherlands and pumped around in Spanish real estate. The suspect is said to be the son of a leader of a Dutch gang of drug smugglers.

The arrestee has already been handed over to the Netherlands according to reports from Europa Press. The investigation into this gang started in the Netherlands in 2017 after the discovery of more than 3200 kilos of cocaine in a load of bananas from Latin America.

In a few weeks the book Holleeders Underworld will be published , written by Wim van de Pol. Van de Pol was the only journalist who had access to the complete police files of the criminal case against Willem Holleeder and to documents from files from dozens of other murder cases that appear to be related to the case.

In the new book Van de Pol outlines, among other things, alternative scenarios for those who can be behind the murders of which Willem Holleeder is suspected. He often quotes from official reports. This creates a complete picture of the underworld war that held the Netherlands in its grip from 1999. A very different picture than the limited history that has so far been outlined in the media. In addition to Holleeder, there appear to have been other key players.

More than a Jordaan family quarrel
The book also shows that the lawsuit against Holleeder is much more than a picturesque Amsterdam-Jordaan family quarrel. It is also the end of an era full of greed and reckoning. A period in which numerous conflicts ran together, with more than one main player.

Raw reality
In Holleeders Onderwereld we regularly read the raw reality directly from the original police files, made readable and provided with an explanation by the author. It is the original, personal stories of the criminals themselves, witnesses and victims who paint a never-before-seen picture of Holleeder's underworld.

Little is known about the motive for the murder of Frank K. in Eindhoven: there are so many different stories circulating that there is not much to say about it. Recurring item: that he was a good friend of Lesley Tunk. They were "best friends." But that is already nine years ago (November 2010), that Lesley was found murdered in a burnout car.
Tunk was an enforcer for the Gang of Van Wesenbeeck, I mentioned Janus the other day in the Other Mob Films/Books/TV section, before his death Tunk was ordered to kill Scottish drug lord Walter Douglas.

Various arrest teams have been raiding early in the morning at various places in the Netherlands. In addition, 12 people were arrested in Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague, ranging in age from 20 to 27 years. The raids are related to the attack on the building of newspaper The Telegraaf, June last year.

Houses, sheds and garage boxes were also searched in Zwanenburg, Houten, Utrecht, The Hague, Diemen, Lijnden, Zaandam, Nieuwegein and Amstelveen. Among other things, a car, license plates, GPS trackers, cash, motorbikes and stolen scooters were seized.

The Monday morning operation has been prepared for weeks and is being implemented by the Special Interventions Service.

According to De Telegraaf itself, criminal Ridouan Taghi is behind the attack. Possibly because the newspaper has extensively published several times about the man from Nieuwegein, who is now on the National Investigation List.

For the golden tip that leads to the detection of Taghi and his companion Saïd Razzouki, the police are promising 100,000 euros.

The Public Prosecution Service made a huge blunder. A photo of the most important key witness in the case against Ridouan Taghi, the most wanted criminal in the Netherlands, ended up in the criminal files of all suspects around Taghi, the Prosecutor confirmed to RTL Nieuws after reports in the Telegraaf.

The police photo of Nabil B. ended up in the files of suspects who are on trial on Thursday for involvement in multiple underworld assassinations. The main suspect in the case is fugitive Ridouan Taghi.

Nabil B. is under very heavy security, because of concerns of retaliations from the criminals he testified against. He is in custody in a special, heavily protected wing of a detention center. Last year, Nabil B.'s brother Reduan was murdered in Amsterdam. The Prosecutor believes that this was done in retaliation for Nabil B.'s testimony, and that "the group around Taghi" was behind the murder.

"The photo was included in the file unintentionally. And therefore an error. Publication entails risks. The Public Prosecution Service regrets this course of action", a spokesperson for the National Prosecutor's Office told RTL Nieuws.

A 28-year-old Colombian man was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison by the Rotterdam court for his involvement in importing a 5.1-tonne cocaine in February 2018. The public prosecutor had demanded seven years in prison.

The 5,091 kilos of cocaine from Colombia was in a container that contained bananas according to the waybills. The container had to go to a company in Moerdijk, but ended up in a warehouse in Oss for unclear reasons. According to some statements because the bananas had to be 'checked', according to others because the warehouse in Moerdijk was already closed. Other bananas were already waiting in the shed to be packed in the container.

There were other suspects who had to take the drugs. According to justice, the Colombian only came to check the seal of the container. He has constantly invoked his right to remain silent. According to the OM, the other suspects did not know who he was.

Five Dutch suspects and a Belgian woman must be tried later. The clients for the transport are unknown.

Dennis Groenfelt, who was murdered Sunday night at a gas station in Paramaribo, would be a rival of the wanted criminal Ridouan Taghi. Groenfelt would belong to the organization of Mustapha F. Two suspects were arrested for the murder in Suriname.
Mustapha F., aka Moes, was the actual target of the murder in Café La Crème in Marrakech. That liquidation killed an innocent student, the son of a judge. F. is the owner of Club No Limit in Zoetermeer. He is now stuck in Morocco.

The public prosecutor does not yet want to say for which murders she will prosecute Dutch Chilean Richard "Rico" R. (45). The prosecutors did, however, present PGP messages to the court on Thursday with new indications of assassinations. It remains to be seen whether there is enough evidence for prosecution for murders.

Rico is now only on trial for possession of firearms, money laundering and membership of a criminal organization that trafficked drugs. He was extradited for those facts by Chile, the country where he was arrested.

"Rico the Chilean is a leader in the Mocro War"
WANT THIJSSEN

AMSTERDAM

Richard R., aka 'Rico de Chileen', is involved in one or more liquidations in the criminal environment. The Public Prosecution Service states this on the basis of a criminal investigation. According to his prosecutors, 45-year-old R. is one of the three leaders in a major drug war (popularly called Mocro War) that has cost more than 30 lives since 2012.

Together with the fugitive Ridouan T. (currently the most wanted man) and Naoufal - 'Noffel' - F. (sentenced to 18 years in prison last spring), R. would lead a ruthless Dutch drug syndicate in which influenceable young boys become hired to liquidate counterparts. The amateurism of these contract killers has already resulted in at least ten 'mistreatments'.

So far, Richard R. is on trial for running a criminal organization, possession of weapons, drug trafficking and money laundering. But on Wednesday, during the third session in his criminal trial, it turned out that the Public Prosecution Service also wants to sue him for involvement in murder.

The accused was involved in several liquidations, according to OM

R.'s involvement in liquidations would appear from encrypted message traffic found on two seized servers of the telephone company Ennetcom. This controversial Dutch company sold PGP telephones - 'Pretty Good Privacy' - mainly to criminals who assumed that they were communicating outside of the police because of the encryption software. Partly based on this type of decrypted messages, R.'s henchman 'Noffel' was sentenced to 18 years in prison last year.

Henchmen
The indictment of murder requires permission from the Chilean authorities (who extradited R. on the basis of the current indictment). However, the prosecutors did not answer on Wednesday specifically about the question of which murders they think the suspect is actually involved in. It was said that the investigation showed that convicted drug dealer Mink K., who served his prison sentence and is staying in Lebanon, is "a target of this suspect." And at the end of last year, NRC Handelsblad published that in 2016, R. and his alleged other henchman, the fugitive Ridouan T., were considering killing prosecutor Koos Plooij.

Earlier the OM announced that decrypted PGP reports also show that the suspected drug triad 'Rico de Chileen', 'Noffel' and the internationally sought-after Ridouan T. worked together with Raffaele Imperiale, a leader of the Neapolitan mafia, who was three two stolen paintings by Vincent van Gogh have been recovered. The fugitive Imperiale escapes a prison sentence in Italy by staying in Dubai, suspects R.'s prosecutors.

R.'s lawyer, Leon van Kleef, calls the OM's investigation 'slow' and the research results 'not very concrete'. Among other things he wants to hear Mafia boss Imperiale, drug dealer Mink K. and 'Noffel' F. as a witness about their alleged relationship with R. At the beginning of March the OM initiates a video conference with the Chilean judiciary to talk about an extradition certificate by R. murder. Any permission will certainly take five to six months.

Detention
Rico de Chileen was arrested in Chile in October 2017 and transferred to the Netherlands last March on suspicion of drug trafficking, money laundering and possession of weapons. He is in custody in the Extra Secure Institution (EBI) in Vught. According to the OM, he is a flight hazard. A request from R.'s lawyer to investigate whether electronic monitoring can be an alternative to R.'s - already very long-term - detention, was rejected on Wednesday.

"One of the largest cocaine labs in the Netherlands ever" discovered thanks to fallen tree
The heavy storm in the Netherlands on Thursday led to the accidental discovery of a cocaine laboratory in Oud-Vossemeer, Zeeland, the police in Roosendaal reported. When cleaning up a tree that had landed near a farmer's shed on the Molenweg, a suspicious smell of air was spotted and some suspicious men were seen.
Warned agents then found the synthetic drug lab in the shed. This is a large, professional cocaine wash, where the entire production took place for cocaine making. A photo scattered by the police shows the coke lab and barrels with chemicals.
Nobody has been picked up yet.

Spain arrested Dutch "heroine king" | Abroad
June 16, 2019 World 1 Views

The Spanish media call Sadullah U. alias Nicol "the king of the heroin". He is considered one of the largest heroin traders in Europe. He had hidden seven kilos of heroin in his Audi A3 when he was arrested in the city of Pontevedra. The drug dealer allegedly did not want to use a cell phone and practically lived in his car. With it he covered thousands of kilometers every day.

The police investigation began in January, when a drug trafficker in Ourense began to trade a lot of heroin. In addition to 7 kilos of heroin, 66 kilos of speed and thousands of euros of cash were confiscated during the operation.

The Dutchman was arrested once in 2008 when the Spanish police ever carried out their biggest heroin capture. At that time, agents found more than 316 kilos of heroin on a yacht near Barcelona. Sadullah was once in jail after being arrested in 1994. Then in Madrid 118 kilos of heroin were confiscated.

Twice life for "unscrupulous murders" in underworld war
26 June 2019 13:30
Last update: 2 minutes ago

On Wednesday, the Gelderland District Court sentenced twice a life sentence and thirty years to jail in a large winding-up process involving two murders and three attempts to that end. "Bullets were literally sprayed," the judge said.

Omar L. (28) has been found guilty of organizing and therefore co-perpetrating the murders and their attempts. According to the court, he must go to prison for life.

That punishment also applies to Hicham M. (25) for his involvement in multiple life crimes. "They seem unscrupulous," was the judge's verdict. "For such exceptionally serious crimes only lifelong is appropriate."

Mohamed H. (29) was imprisoned for 30 years. He was involved in a murder and a failed attempt at murder. "The court sees in his case still room for improvement of his life" and therefore opted for the highest punishment to be imposed.

A total of six suspects were on trial
This liquidation process revolves around the preparation of the murder of the Chahid and Chafik Yakhlaf brothers in October 2015, the actual liquidation of Chahid Yakhlaf and the failed liquidation of Chafik Yakhlaf and a third person in Kerkdriel two months later.

In addition, it is about the murder of Eaneas Lomp in Krommenie in November 2015 and the failed liquidation of Nourredine A. in April 2016.

A total of six suspects were on trial. Don M. and Frans H. were respectively imprisoned for nine and seven years for preparing the murders of the Yakhlaf brothers in October 2015.

Daniël M. was sentenced to fifteen years in prison for luring his 'friend' Lomp and keeping the shooters informed of the man's travel movements.

Dutch police seize 2.5 tons of methamphetamine

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — Dutch police say they have made Europe’s biggest ever seizure of methamphetamine after discovering 2.5 tons of the drug stashed behind a wall in a building in the port city of Rotterdam.

Police said in a statement Wednesday that the drugs, which were found last week and have since been destroyed, had a street value of hundreds of millions of euros, and that this “quantity has never before been discovered in Europe.”

Further investigations led detectives to a warehouse in the central city of Utrecht where they discovered 17,500 liters (4,623 gallons) of chemicals that could be used for washing cocaine and producing synthetic drugs.

Police spokesman Thomas Aling said no suspects have been arrested, but investigations are continuing.

In an interview with Dutch journalist the highest ranked police chief in Medellin said the narcos are preparing massive shipments to Rotterdam and other European ports. Reason is that cocaine production is now at a record level.

Or Neo Nazis. There have been a few groups identified in the Netherlands. Dutch gangs mainly deal in Ecstasy, weed and cocaine, with a couple dealing in heroin but not in large quantities.

Yeah there is hardly a market for crystal meth here but we see a lot of seizures and labs here a few big ones involving Mexican producers very worrisome we also don't deal in fentanyl but that's a matter of time before it hits the European streets.

Yes it was a surprise to Dutch police as well but about ten mexicans are currently in prison here and in Belgium.

DUTCH CRIME BOSS TO SPEND LIFE IN PRISON OVER 6 MURDERS
By Janene Pieters on July 4, 2019 - 11:16

The court in Amsterdam sentenced criminal kingpin Willem Holleeder to life in prison on Thursday. He was convicted of ordering six murders and participating in a criminal organization. Life in prison is the only fitting punishment for Holleeder, the court said. "You think you have unscrupulous and indifferent control over life and death", the court said , according to the NOS live blog on the trial.

Holleeder was charged with orchestrating five murders between 2002 and 2006 in the Amsterdam criminal underworld - the murders of Cor van Hout in 2003, Willem Endstra in 2004, John Mieremet and Kees Houtman in 2005, and Thomas van der Bijl in 2006. He also faced charges of manslaughter, attempted manslaughter, and running a criminal enterprise. The Public Prosecutor demanded life in prison against him.

The court found Holleeder guilty of ordering the murders of Cor van Hout, Willem Endstra, Kees Houtman, John Mieremet and Thomas van der Bijl. He was also found guilty of the murder of a boat trader who was killed in the assassination of Van Hout.

The court stressed the severity of the crimes the Heineken kidnapper is accused of. Holleeder led a world in which power, violence and lawlessness reigned supreme, the court said. "Fear rules in the world of crime", the judge said. "The leaders are always wary of treachery."

While there is no concrete evidence for Holleeder's involvement in the five assassinations, a whole series of witnesses linked him to these murders, including his two sisters, his ex-girlfriend, and key witnesses Fred Ros and Peter La Serpe. The Supreme Court previously determined that the authorities broke no rules in the use of these key witnesses, and the court agrees. "The testimonies are reliable and can be used in the usual way in this case", the court said.

The court also considered testimony given by Holleeder's sisters and ex-girlfriend reliable. "It was not in their best interest to make contact with the judiciary." Holleeder's lawyers claimed that sister Astrid suffered from psychiatric disorders, but there is no evidence for that, the court said. There is also no reason to believe that secret recordings Astrid made of conversations with her brother, which formed part of the evidence against him, are unreliable.

Holleeder said multiple times that he was responsible for the murder of his brother-in-law Cor van Hout. "Finally it succeeded", he said to his sister, for example. He also asked about Van Hout's inheritance and criminal assets on the night of his murder. There is enough reliable testimony to show that Holleeder ordered this murder, the court ruled. Boat trader Robert ter Haak was also killed during this assassination.

The court considered it proven that Holleeder was behind the murder of real estate magnate Willem Endsra. He discussed this murder with his sisters, telling sister Sonja that "it was him or me". Other statements also show that Holleeder, working with the group around criminals Dino Soerel and Stanley Hillis, caused Endstra's death.

The testimony of the two key whiteness and an anonymous witness, who heard Holleeder talking to other criminals in a club, convincingly showed that Holleeder commissioned the murder of drug dealer Kees Houtman, the court said. The court also considered Holleeder guilty of the murder of Thomas van der Bijl.

Holleeder also ordered the murder of John Mierement, the court ruled. The crime boss was also convicted of a failed assassination attempt on John Mieremet in 2002. Various statements from witnesses showed this, the court said.

The court did not believe the image Holleeder sketched of himself in the courtroom - that he is a 'crook' who dealt with many serious criminals, but that he cannot be blamed for the actions of others. The court pointed out that Holleeder assured them multiple times that he was telling the truth, only to change his statements later. He also invoked his right to remain silent at crucial moments. "False and opportunistic", the court called it. "With that, you seriously compromised the credibility of your statements."

Media now confirms the name of the victim: Rob van Eijk (55).

Rob van Eijk is known in the criminal circuit and is said to have been involved in cocaine smuggling in recent years. But he was not always an equally reliable partner. He would have regularly withheld lots of cocaine. In the criminal circuit it would have earned him the nickname 'Trekpop', because he himself pulled back parties of coke. That reputation would also have prevented well-known criminals from working with him. Possibly that eventually became fatal to him.
