The 35-year-old Italian Salvatore Stefano, was murdered in a restaurant in Mexico City, "La Bella Donna" in the Cuauhtemoc neighborhood in the center of the Mexican capital. Immediately after the killer escaped on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice who was waiting for him. Struck by several bullets, the man then died after being admitted to the hospital.
The Italian was perhaps the victim of an ambush by compatriots because, according to the testimony of an employee of the restaurant, the killers cursed in Italian.

Was Stefano connected?

The victim is from naples and maybe defrauded someone selling chinese machinery saying that was from Germany.
So maybe did the same end of the other 3 men killed in Mexico.

Mexico City has a Camorra presence, at least 3 of their clans operate there. The region that has the highest presence and four Italian crime groups is Veracruz. Stefano murder could be related to Veracruz as that seems to be where most of the tensions are coming from. There is also a drug war going on right now in Veracruz, so I would not be surprised if Stefano was just someone in the way.

His friends who who were with De Stefano are Luca and Domenico, aged 35 and 55, whose silence does not facilitate the investigations. This is the second murder in Mexico within a year of a Neapolitan (Alessandro De Fabbio was assassinated in November 2018 ), in addition to the three Neapolitans who disappeared on 31 January 2018 at Tecalitlan and of which there is no more news.
These are Antonio Russo, his father Raffaele and his cousin Vincenzo Cimmino, who come from the Case Nuove area and in Mexico have been trading electric generators for years.
The death of De Stefano could also be linked to the turn of generators. The crime seems to revolve around the sale of probably faked electric generators, used by narcos to refine the drug.

Ambush in Mexico, the body of Salvatore De Stefano is freed: today in Naples the funeral

The suspects of the investigators who are investigating the murder of Salvatore De Stefano would be Italian, the Neapolitan entrepreneur was murdered last April 4 in a restaurant in Mexico. According to what has been learned, the motive for the murder carried out with gunshots would be due to a vendetta, perhaps linked to the victim's business activities. "There would be no relationship between the murder of the thirty-five-year-old Neapolitan and the feared scams of the generators," says lawyer Gennaro Demetrio Paipais, the family's lawyer who follows the story, keeping in close contact with the Foreign Ministry.
