Thank you for posting , but why you open new thread every time when u want to post a photo? We have thread called "Rare Photos" , its much better having them all in one place...

The guys who shot McGurn in a phone booth were the Gusenberg brothers, top gunmen in the Bugs Moran gang. The St. Valentine's Day Massacre was set up by McGurn as revenge for the shooting, not (as many people believe) by Capone to get rid of Moran. Capone fronted ~$10k to McGurn to carry out the massacre. McGurn checked into a hotel that day with his girlfriend (called "the blond alibi"). He constantly called to order room service, each time asking for the exact time of day. Capone was in Florida, meeting with the Dade County DA at the time. The massacre turned the tide against Capone. He grew disillusioned with McGurn, who was killed later in a bowling alley.

Then who killed McGurn? Apparently they left some weird poem on him.

He was killed seven years to the day after the St. Valentine's Day massacre, by three gunmen who left a comic Valentine in his hands. No one knows who they were or worked for. Some speculate that Moran ordered it, some say it was the Outfit, to shut him up, some say it was a Gusenberg brother's work.

Agree, its best for going back and review to see if maybe one you have found has been posted already without check so many threads.

Should make one with just pictures, and if you want you could put text under the picture
the problem with the rare photos thread is that there are too many comments and people having discussions in the midst of it.
