Joe Bonanno orders murder of his friend the Genovese capo John Biello in Miami 18 March 1967 in Miami the Genovese capo John Biello was killed at the orders of Bonanno. They had been friends but Biello and Colombo had told the Commission about Bonanno`s rebellion plot. Bonanno had the murder committed and had the help of Genovese soldier Pasquale Erra (FBN book page 90?).
Anyone knows more about Biello?

One of the more remarkable things the turncoat William Dara told the FBI was that "Joseph Bonanno maintained 'execution squads' throughout the country and specifically in Los Angeles, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Chicago and elsewhere." He called them "the worst kinds of killers" who were loyal only to Bonanno.

He and joe colombo betrayled bonanno saying to the commission his plot for kill gambino and the others bosses. Colombo was then a boss so bonanno killed biello because was just a capo.

Why would Joe Bonanno order the murder of one of his closest friends and allies? George Barone carried out the hit on orders by Anthony Salerno. Biello is said to have had a falling out with Matty the Horse and the Genovese family administration and that is why he was murdered.

This guy name came up alot in the ray patriarca fbi files they released a few yrs ago. Hr was doing alot of booking with yhe jews around boston he was transferd from yhe genovese family to new england family in late 50tys he had a falling out wit ray . They mention peter limone being sent to miami to look for him. He pissed off alot of powerfull people.
