Anyone else feel he should've had a little more scene time? I would've liked if the first Season spent more time with Tony as a Capo. I also think the character showed potential to have been awesome and it seems to be agreed by every character in the Soprano Family that Jackie was a great Boss who ran a peaceful and profitable ship.

Yeah, as you'll notice, Tony was the boss in the pilot episode. But I think Chase thought differently after the show was picked up. He couldn't have Tony starting out at the top because there would be nowhere for him to go.

Yeah i reckon that was the case also. Starting Jackie off as having cancer and boss was probably the best thing to do.

I would have liked to have seen more flashbacks like the sit down with Uncle Junior and Jackie. Maybe even younger version and showing them busting up Feeches card game.

Jackie was also very feared as was alluded to in the show a few times. I always wished, they showed more flashbacks with Jackie.

Tommy Shots: They want me running the family, don't they know I have a young wife?
Sal Vitale: (laughs) Tommy, jump in, the water's fine.

Always liked the scene where Tony surprised Jackie with the nurse/hooker in the hospital. Such a nice thing to do whistle !

Chase would have another mega hit on his hands if he would do a couple of "Prequel Seasons" of The Sopranos. (My opinion). Think of all the great story lines showing Johnny Boy & Junior Soprano in their hey day. Some of those flashback scenes with young Olivia & Johnny are so great. This would be so terrific!

Definitley, something i wish with the Sopranos is that they focused more on the mob side of things rather than giving the family type storylines so much time.

In the earlier seasons we got to see abit of truck hijacking etc.

If Tony was the boss in the pilot he wouldnt have had to blow up his friend's restaurant, he would have just told Junior it is not goiing to go down that way.

He was something more of an Acting/Street Boss

I could see that, being that Jackie is his best friend and in the hospital he would need a street boss.

Jackie Sr. was my favorite character - not impulsive like Tony, and not so pshychotic like Richie Aprile. The best boss...

They used him as the turning point. Shit went downhill once he passed away.
