Sherbrooke Hells Angels section reactivated

The Hells Angels section of Sherbrooke has been reactivated, La Presse learned. Members wearing a jacket with the effigy of the section of the capital of the Eastern Townships were observed by investigators of the Sûreté du Québec, at the end of the week, at a party organized for the 30 th anniversary of the Quebec chapter.

Project Objection: a fugitive goes into the courtroom

Dominic Pagé surrendered to Judge Daniel Bédard of the Court of Quebec, when he was presiding over the investigation of the release of two other defendants arrested in the same investigation project.

According to our information, Pagé worked under the orders of Hells Angels member in good standing, Stéphane Maheu, who is still wanted since Operation Objection.

Two fugitives connected with the Hells Angels, refuged since April in the Dominican Republic, were repatriated to Canada yesterday and arrested.
The plane carrying Kenny Maheu and Denis Desputeaux, both of Roxton Falls, landed last night at the Toronto airport, around 19:40. Upon arrival, officers from the National Organized Crime Squad (ENRCO) waited for them to handcuff them. They were wanted as part of police operation Project Objection , conducted in April.
Maheu, 28, was wanted for conspiracy to smuggle cocaine, trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine. Desputeaux, 24, was for conspiracy to smuggle and smuggle cocaine.

Members of the Rock Machine, the group of bikers once sworn enemies of the Hells Angels, say they want to make a comeback in Quebec even if the police give them little credibility.

A few dozen people gathered on June 23 in Saint-Dominique, not far from Saint-Hyacinthe, on a property where a Rock Machine flag had been erected.

During his visit, the representative of the Journal observed a dozen people wearing jackets with the colors of the gang, which has been virtually removed from the map in recent years. Some were marked "Prospect" or "Probationnary" and some "Nomads" or "Canada".

"Alive"

"You just have one thing to know is that Rock Machine is alive," said a biker with a scarf to hide his face. He then demanded that Le Journal leave the premises.

Controversial Rock Machine Returns

If some Rock Machine say they want to make a comeback in Quebec, they are do it without having obtained prior authorization from the world chapter, which former incarcerated members joke about.

"I do not even know a single guy in this gang. These are fake rock machines, we do not recognize them. There is not even a chapter recognized in Canada, "said Suat Erköse, reputed to be the world president of the group of bikers.

Due to the different conflicts in recent years and the clans that have formed, the world chapter of Rock Machine has decided to close the one of Canada.

Only a few "Nomads" would be allowed here.

Wonder if the Bloods from Montreal, still old a grudge against the Hells.
The Hells always been partner with the Crips ftom St michel, since St-Michel is near Hells Angels power house, Hochelagua Maisonneuve.

I haven't heard of any truce among the Bloods and the Crips. I think Gregory Woolley attempted to unify them at one point but failed.

Trust me he suceed in some kind of way. Montreal street gangs scene has never been so calm, since the 90s.

Its not like the bloods and crips have united, but the old heads are making money together. And serious money.
Also, alot of young gang members from Montreal, are really active in Toronto and more in the west of Canada (Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon)

The Hells Angels in Quebec, ESPECIALLY the Shebrooke guys are basically "French Mafia" more than they are "bikers". I would go as far as saying the Sherbrooke chapter of the Hells Angels is the most "serious" Hells Angels chapter in the world. They have always been basically totally independent.... even the Nomads never ordered them around.

If anybody has been paying attention there are also Italians holding prominent positions in biker gangs :

Example: Hells Angels in BC and Quebec, Head Hunters, Devils Ghost

Wonder how the bikers in Quebec (and other parts of Canada) became as powerful as they are. They're basically sophisticated a-list gangsters over there. I don't think bikers got as much pull anywhere else in the world as they got over there.

Well in Quebec, their force really started outisde of Montreal. Other cities with not many immigration. So they started to control the illegal market of many cities, while the italian mafia mostly stayed in Montreal and the region of montreal.
When the Hells got all the province lock (except of Montreal), they came to Montreal, and a biker war started.

The Hells did the same thing as the Mob. There was many mob families in Quebec, but always one at the top (like the Rizzutos).
Well the Hells did the same thing, there was many biker gangs or white gangs, and the Hells succeed to control most of them.

The largest concentration of bikers in Canada is in Ontario, but they are nothing like the bikers in Quebec. The Sherbrooke chapter for ex. has always organized their own shipments of drugs from Latin America. Bikers in Toronto were traditionally into riding bikes, fighting, partying etc etc. At the same time, the guys in Quebec were setting up 500kg shipments of cocaine. Just different. The funny thing is though, the Ontario guys have always been big, juiced up, monsters, that play the role, whereas the Frenchmen have been more low key, dressed quite nice, very polite, but like I said, more French mafia than outlaw motorcycle gang.

In British Columbia, law enforcement was always lax with marijuana and the bikers got their start and went big time into weed...and then spread into cocaine and other legit businesses. By the time LE caught up, the bikers had millions in assets.

The bikers there have roots in the 60s-70s gangs in Quebec, they were already serious gangsters before they became affiliated with Hells Angels.

There was a daily average of barely 85 biker-related prisoners in prison in 2017.
This is a decrease of almost 100% from 2011, when an average of 162 Hells detainees were incarcerated each day, mainly because of Operation SharQc, which decimated the motorcycle club.
Almost all the Hells pinned at this time has regained its freedom for two years. It must be said that 50 of the 156 bikers targeted by the SharQc operation were eventually released from all charges in what many described as a judicial fiasco.

During the biker war they even seized a map of montreal that explicitly delineated territories of the HA and which chapter owned which part, and Sherbrooke had a huge chunk which I believe included downtown Montreal, even though they were hours away from MTL.

Fairly simple, utterly lax law enforcement compared with the US, I mean they've failed to try a lot of bikers here and had to realease them with time served because the system could not operate well enough to carry on justice. They didn't dole out 100 year sentences like they did in the Comission case in the states, The only guy they really threw the book at was Mom Boucher and while he was really powerful and high profile, he didn't hold all the power in the biker world.
