Here’s a situation. Ur a low level modern mobster who works for a nyc crime family. Ur dream is to become a made man. Ur willing to do almost anything to gain respect. Well one night ur at a card game with some wiseguys and they tell u that someone u recently did a drug deal with ripped u off. As a matter in fact, he’s bragging to a lot of people in the neighborhood that he ripped u off. In the mob, respect is everything so in this situation what would u do? If u dont act, the mob guys might think ur a punk, thus not having any respect for u. Would u kill the dealer or resort to another method?

I would keep reading to kill the dealer or skip to page 26 and resort to another method.

I'd instruct the wiseguys at the card game to tell this punk that I, me, Billy Brizzi will sever his muthafuckin' head off!!!

Who is the guy? Is he connected? Does he deal for another family, or maybe another wiseguy in the same family that you're trying to get in with...is somebody getting paid by him on a regular basis, and would not be happy to lose that income.

You'd need to know stuff like that before you could make a decision.

Anybody can kill anybody. You don't automatically get respect just for pulling a trigger. You have to be smart, and always remember that it almost always comes down to money. Plus you need to follow rules, and play politics. That's just the way it is.

All God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.

I never met anyone who didn't have a very smart child. What happens to these children, you wonder, when they reach adulthood?

Yes to all of the above. Even though you're not a made man, you're connected--and everything you do reflects on your crew and your family. If you want to be a made man, you follow your family's rules. You go to your crew chief and ask his advice. Acting on your own (particularly with violence), without consulting anyone, is a one-way ticket to the grave.

Depend. If you re an associate and the other is a made man what only can do is to go to your capo and ask for a meeting. If the other is also an associate it better to beat it for have the money back. But if you ask the ok to whack him and the boss say yes,you must whack him but maybe this won't increse york "respect" on the mob circles.

Depends. Whacking the guy might cause problems depending who he is etc

ie imagine he was a low level guy but owed a lot of money, to his ‘family’. U whacking the guy will cause u problems

Best thing is to speak to your representative and try to get it resolved diplomatically. If that fails, again you’d have to
Go the correct channels in getting the guy clipped

If that is turned down and he’s still laughing his head off. Time to hire some Latin King members and have the guy hurt under the table

Here’s a different, but similar mob situation: a wiseguy starts a rumor that ur gay. I have nothin against gays but if ur gay and ur a wiseguy ur never gunna be respected. So what would u do bout the rumor and the guy who started it?

Johnny Boy D'amato was killed in 1992 because his girlfriend said that he was gay. He was the acting boss and was whacked. So if a wiseguy started a rumor that you re gay you must do 2 things: first you have to convince your boss that you aren't gay and second ask the ok to kill the wiseguy because in the mob the most worst thing to say apart that you are a rat is to say that youre gay.
But only if you're made,if you're an associate can be even openly gay like vito arena in the demeo crew.

This. If you're on record, you consult your superiors. Someone in the family likely knows the person your doing business with and they can help work it out. If they don't, you took the risk by doing business with an outsider and just have to take the loss or handle it yourself. You are suppose to work with people you can trust since there's no court to settle criminal disputes.

Johnny Boy's never going to pay you, Michael. Find a new line of work.
