"The Supreme Court struck down a federal law that prohibits sports gambling Monday in a landmark decision that gives states the go-ahead to legalize betting on sports." ESPN

Adam Silver and the NBA are on board. Rumor is they're seeking to get a 1% cut for every bet placed upon the outcome on any of their games. It seems MLB wants to ensure the integrity of their game does not change. Will this corrupt professional/college sports? Thoughts?

Corrupt them more then they all ready are?

I say no, they will become more ethical and less corrupt.

It could be big money for the leagues. Over time I'm sure that'll get spread out to the players as well.

I think they banned it in New York state and there's litigation (or it's already been resolved). I'm not 100% sure as I've never used it.

Good thing I did not wager on the Palyoff games.

I think the only game I would have won would have been San Fran.

Picked up a few Super Bowl Boxes today.
Will post numbers here once drawn and I get them.

You are right DP. I don’t think anyone saw the Titans Ravens game turning out like it did.

It wasn’t looking good for KC either getting down 24-0 in a blink. In the end KC put up half a hundy against them. Entertaining game if you like offense.

Amazing, all the games.... I was hoping Buffalo would have at least gotten to The Ravens and felt they would end season there but after seeing that game I saw where they were vulnerable and Bills could have gotten through.

Shit

Buffalo is an up and coming team. I look for them to be in contention for several years.

I thought SF would be better too but I never thought they’d go from 4-12 to 13-3.

That’s the nature of today’s NFL though. You can turn it around quickly with good drafting and a great coach and QB.
