Congrats to Eagles!

Man box pools were all over, 2's are hard to come by but they were in there this year.

I did not hit but came close on every quarter with my box pools.

When they went for a extra point it killed me and when they went for two it killed me.

Oh well, maybe next year, its like buying lotto tickets.

Foles was amazing -- that sneak play, OMG, one of the best plays I've ever seen!

I'm not an Eagles fan (and certainly not a Pats fan!), but I rooted for them as a lot of my friends are fans. And I knew their D was pretty good as I had them in fantasy (come to think of it, I also had the Pats' D for a while). But the Iggles were terrific the entire game, and deserved to win their first championship!

I pretty much agree Geoff, but I usually feel more confident with a team that can score in each quarter rather than a team that builds a big lead like the Falcons did last year. However, the Eagles defense could have been better.

I played American football for about 24 years. Have not watched a super bowl in a long time. I saw the whole game Sunday and a lot of the pregame. No visitors except my wife. Had some Italian food delivered.

I did not particularly like the game. I was a defensive player from my point of view the game had to be a lot of scoring because the defense was bad by both teams.

Here is how I learned to play on defense. On the snap of the ball you must get defensive penetration right away on the snap of the ball. You got to get behind the line of scrimmage. Why, if you don’t and the offensive team get to the line of scrimmage it is very hard for them not to gain yards. Both team defensively did not do that. So they both were going to score a lot of points.

Then New England wins the coin toss and let’s Philadelphia have the ball. They scored and New England got behind for most of the game.

a Lot of little stuff from a local Italian place. Soup pasta Fagioli , rice balls, spaghetti with meat gravy, sausage and meat balls, salad, lasagna, cannoli no wine just water.

I wanted her to make her macaroni pie. But she wanted to relax and watch the half time show.

I am not into that.

I did not particularly like it. Only 10 minutes long I think that was good.

Hey how long was the last 2 minutes of the first half. About 1 hour and 10 minutes in real time.


Funny thing a lot of the stuff I learned playing all came back to me while I was watching the game. The game has completely changed since I played. A touch back comes out to the 25 instead of the 20. Can’t do anything now that we did before it would be a penalty.

Don’t use your helmet even on the ball 🏈 penalty. No hard on side kick hit the ball high get that hard to control kick off where you have a chance to win the ball back. Why did they try to do that?

In a few days the Winter Olympics start. I was talking to some people it did not interest them. I said here in Brooklyn we don’t ski. We do baseball, football, stickball and soccer.

I just saw an movie of my 8 year old Grandson Henry sking in Germany. Man he was good very good soccer player as well.

I'm pretty much an NFL football fan especially when it comes to my Steelers. However, I am amused(?) by both the ESPN and NFL websites some of the content of which is already speculating about the 2018 season. Both sites are already into power rankings and ESPN is speculating about 2018 MVPs. Madonne! Give me a break!

Wow what a start of the season for the Dutch Yankees shortstop his tenth homerun! Gregorius also leads the MLB with the highest batting average (.368) and with thirty runs batted in.

The Yankees stole him from Arizona and this is what frustrates me, Cashman doesn't get the credit he deserves. In 2016 they rebuilt, while still remaining competitive and last year they were 1 game shy of the World Series. LOVE this team. Now let's see if they can get Stanton straightened out. I think the booing is a little premature at home, honestly. Torres and Andujar have hit well since coming up. This is a very exciting team to watch. They'll go as far as their starting pitching takes them.

Also, great come-from-behind wins the last 2 games against Minnestoa and now Anaheim. I thought for sure they were going to lose last night, being down by a run in the top of the 9th, but they tie it and then win in extras on, you guessed it, Didi's homerun!

The Yankees' bullpen is also pretty good.

They are if they can get Betances right and hopefully get Kahnle back soon. Also, winner's of 8 in a row now!
