Agree Billy. In order to survive in that shit hole you have to be on guard and a bad ass 24/7/365. I hate to give Alite his due but he survived that nightmare.

I work in a field where I meet people from around the world. Brazilians I have found to be very harsh, often brash. So the report of that prison war doesn't surprise me at all. Brazilians are often loud. You can tell they are brutal, even the women. Now we are not even talking about the convict population mind you.

U can survive in there if u take it up the asss too. Not saying Alite did but that's how the weaker inmates get by. The ones u see getting murdered are usually the tough ones

Brazilian prison riots are absolutely brutal. I'd say the worst riots happen in Amazonas prisons. There's video's all over the web. They're smashing each other's skulls in, literally tearing heads off, gouging out eyes just for shits and giggles... There are bad prisons all over the world, but Brazilian prisons are quite literally hell on earth.

The United States prisons take a lot of heat from ACLU types, but the corrections department in America is head and shoulder above others around the world. I think a typical day in a South American prison is almost as bad as a riot in an American prison. Attica and the one in the southwest years ago are the 2 worst here
