A very original idea could be a man of the ndrangheta that after the Katrina hurricane try to create a gang in New Orleans and with the help of the grandnephews of the NO mafia old glories , now legit bussiness men, rebuilt the family.
Any other ideas?

Carl Johnson is a homegrowned black. Its just my idea that with the ndrangheta that surpassed the mafia could be interesting a Calabrian that would try to take New Orleans.
Carl Johnson is an individual not an organization/network. Furthermore I think you have to maintain some reality to the actual city. There's hardly any Italian OC activities and if Ndrangheta was to set up shop, it's presence would be marginalized by the local underworld groups. Plus the N.O PD
