WOW, good choice, Aziatic! The sting is a good movie, but I especially recommend you The Leopard (a masterpiece in the Italian movie history) and This boy's life, with an excellent DeNiro and an outstanding performance of a younger Leo DiCaprio. Great movies, yes! Then let me know what you think about, ok?

"This Boys Life" DVD was too cheap so I couldnt resist either. Im going to watch it this weekend. "The Leopard" costs about 20 Euros but I guess thats alright for a movie which has great reviews...and Claudia Cardinale This Edition has also 2 DVDs and the Soundtrack by Nino Rota so I cant go wrong anyway...Ill let you know what I think about the movie as soon as I get it...

At least you getting Abel Ferrera's kick-ass KING OF NEW YORK validated yourself. Good flick!
Anyway folks, I'm nearly done with my new review of a recently released DVD. Did you seen License to Drive? That movie was sweet, 80s style. As for Life Aquatic, man did that movie both blow & suck!

I just bought The Score and Serpico on DVD for $5.50 each! With my discount, I got em both for $10.40! So even if SE versions of both of them come out, I wont mind re-purchasing them.

SERPICO for $5.50? Good score! "Did you seen License to Drive? That movie was sweet, 80s style." You know, if you was talking about like Ferris Bueller, fine...but LICENSE TO DRIVE? Man you just took a hit in the Cool Credibility Poll.

I've seen all three when they were released DV. Liberty Valance is one of my favorite John Wayne Movies. Just a bit of trivia....the theme to "The Longest Day" was written by Paul Anka. Basic Instinct - Great suspenseful movie. Enjoy!! TIS

...who also stars in it. I heard it's good, but not great. One film I really wanna see is Tora! Tora! Tora! with Joseph Cotten and Jason Robards. It looks great and I need to get rid of that Michael Bay mess of a movie out of my head every time I think of Pearl Harbor. :p As for Basic Instinct, it even comes with the ice-pick pen seen in the movie as you can see above, although I hear the movie itself is just an average thriller made with senseless nudity, but I'll still see it.

Wow, really? Thats cool. Funny enough, while TORA TORA TORA(which itself was a good docu-drama about the whole bombing operation of Pearl Harbor) was a financial disapointment in the U.S., it was at the time the most successful movie in Japan's box-office history. I agree that VALANCE was a great Ford western. THE LONGEST DAY itself was an ambitious and like TORA, a pretty good docu-drama about the whole operation. Oh and Irish, I'm sorry I kinda insulted your love for 80's rotten cheese like LICENSE TO DRIVE. If you dug it, I'm cool with that. Anyway, LIFE AQUATIC didn't both suck and blow....just blow it did. Add this to my already backlogged DVD review schedule:

It's not the love for the 80's style we're really bashing. I love all those type of movies, good or bad. The good ones I think would include The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Better Off Dead for example. (Better off Dead was good, but almost mediocre) License to Drive however didn't have the quality the other ones did, not entertainment-wise, but the aspects such as dialogue and direction. As said, if you like it, that's fine. I like a lot of shitty movies such as Eraser, American Pie, Rat Race, etc. However that doesn't mean I will give them good ratings. But whatever, the point of the thread is going off. I'll be borrowing this soon, which Omar has recommended and I have been wanting to see. I'm also interested to see a young "Mr. Feeney." :p Now then, there are a lot of TV shows I really want, from Ren and Stimpy and In Living Color to Everybody Loves Raymond and Golden Girls. Here are some I really want (childhood reasons). Boy Meets World S1 Boy Meets World S2 Boy Meets World S3 The Cosby Show Pete and Pete S1 :p

Well, I bet its the same features as in the R1 edition. Still, I'll pick it up later this summer since I'm a Scorsese whore.
