Thanks and yes I get a discount but I buy most (if not all) of my movies at Best Buy. Even with my discount it's still cheaper to go to Best Buy (or Amazon.com if I'm preordering an item because they're even cheaper than Best Buy)

Well... Warner has finally, officially, announced the DVD release of their 8-disc The Christopher Reeve Superman Collection (SRP $68.92) on 11/28. The set will include the 4-disc Superman: The Movie - Special Edition (SRP $39.92 available separately), the 2-disc Superman II: Special Edition (SRP $26.99 available separately) and the single-disc Superman III: Deluxe Edition and Superman IV: Deluxe Edition (SRP $19.97 each separately). Also available on 11/28, though not in the set, is Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (SRP $24.98). There's still no word on the original 14-disc Superman box set that Warner talked about months ago, but we're told it remains a possibility for the future. And by the way, we expect the official announcement of Superman Returns soon, along with (eventually) word of the HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of some of these Superman titles. In the meantime, here's a look at the DVD cover art for the individual editions for each film (we're still waiting on the art for the box set and the Donner Cut)...

Afternoon, folks! Today's post is going to be a quick one, pending any other major breaking news. However, I wanted to jump in here this afternoon with a look at the tentative cover art for Warner's upcoming (and still TBA) Superman Returns DVDs. Here's what the 2-disc special edition and single-disc DVDs are expected to look like when they reach store shelves later this year. Note that this art leaked out of Warner in Europe, and comes to us from the fine DVD Active (all region) website. Warner here in the U.S. hasn't released it (or even officially announced the title) yet, so it should be considered unofficial. Regardless, we're reasonably confident that it's the real deal. We also have the OFFICIALLY released cover art for Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut DVD (due 11/28). Here you go...

The Donner cut of Superman 2 has the restored Brando footage.

Sadly I did see it with my cousin and several of his friends. I assume I don't have to say I gave it zero stars.

By the way, the second part is called a comedic exaggeration, not an actual quote.

The movie was alright but not enough for me to buy it

I actually took a chance and bought it without seeing it... I'm a big fan of those types of movies so I actually enjoyed it, but it's definitely not a masterpiece.
